Student Spotlight: Adam Stiner

Batavia High School sophomore Adam Stiner recently designed and led a team of boys and adults to assemble a Gaga Ball pit on the playground at Alice Gustafson Elementary School. (J.B. Nelson Girl Scout Troop 711 is building a Gaga Ball pit at JBN, too!) Gaga Ball is a fast-paced, high-energy sport played in an octagonal pit. Dubbed a kinder, gentler version of dodgeball, the game is played with a rubber ball and combines the skills of dodging, striking, running, and jumping.
Adam’s project was completed on April 22, 2019, and fulfills the hardest requirement to earning Eagle Scout status. This is a legacy project for Adam as he is a 2014 graduate of Alice Gustafson Elementary School.
Thank you to Adam for bringing Gaga Ball to AGS and good luck to him on his journey to becoming an Eagle Scout!
